‘My dear, my dear,’ said Kate, but to herself. ‘I would give you my soul in a blackberry pie; and a knife to cut it with.’ - The Disorderly Knights, Dorothy Dunnett. That is what this painting always makes me think of -albeit a century too late... @DunnettCentral

Happy Halloween 🎃! I'm recreating another Barbara Villiers portrait. I had to do a few shots as my daughter said, "you need to look haughty, not smiley" 😅 #KeepItStuart – at Bolsover, England

Today’s look is a bit Tudor as I’m going as a sexy Tudor courtier to a Halloween party. My corset & ruff are downstairs. Oh I was also just on LBC talking on Feltz show about how Scotland owes reparations & needs to stop claiming ‘it wisnea us’ when it comes to empire & slavery.

Postiz is now fully deployed on AWS. We will have some downtime over the weekend as we migrate everyone from Railway.

In 2027, many websites will be hacked (maybe even Postiz). You can't stop it. It's not even because you have security leaks in your code; it's because you have partners that might get hacked, or you can literally get hacked with binary code- things you can't control. The AI will find a way to access your CPU / GPU, etc. Try to stay protected as much as possible. - No more unupdated packages - No more I didn't rotate all my api keys because I think that nobody accessed them - No more PaaS - Harden every possible thing so that, even if you are hacked, there won't be any information to take from your customers - Run LLM security (the ones that let you) on your code all the time. And prepare for an impact. If you are an AI company and use tons of AI credits, or you store other people's keys, prepare to be first. It starts with AI distillation.

Overheard at Gauntlet AI: “Before Gauntlet I was rejected by a recruiter for not having enough SwiftUI experience. I was literally on the team at Apple that got the first demo builds of SwiftUI. It is impossible to have more experience with it than I have.”

“What did you build with it, and what was hard?” would be a much more useful follow-up than another check of years on a résumé. It gives someone with deep experience room to show it, and someone newer a fair chance too.

“In stock” needs a second sentence: where it is, what still has to happen, and the earliest dispatch date. If there’s two weeks of prep or scheduling, say that upfront. The buyer is trying to plan production, not solve a vocabulary puzzle.
