Joy at hearing @BpBurnley will be Bishop of Blackburn. He is way more supportive of women’s ordained ministry and celebrates it more than others who supposedly are in favour & strives for the “highest possible degree of communion”. Biggest problem for @cofelancs is his bad jokes.

ALT Bishop Philip comes to this new role already knowing and loving the diocese of Blackburn. He respects and understands the diversity of the diocese and is committed to growing a church where all can flourish both ordained and lay alike. As an evangelist, he will also strive to share the Christian faith with others. As a friend of the poor, he will be a voice for the most hard pressed and excluded in our society.
I was honoured to lead a special #ArmisticeDay2022 service with former soldiers of The Cheshire Regiment on a laughter-filled hike to the highest point in Cheshire. Spoke about Jesus walking up hills with his friends. Then, poignantly, they toasted absent friends. @ChesterDiocese

The stand-in presenter of #TheFolkShow @BBCRadio2 has just played Pete Seeger's lovely version of 'Turn, Turn, Turn' - but he was totally unaware that the words are from the Bible (Ecclesiastes Chapter 3) - he clearly thought that Pete Seeger had written them
Did you know that the flat green in #crowngreenbowling isn't flat at all - it has a great big hilly crown in the middle? Had a go at a church outing today - it's much harder and more fun than it looks.

We were honoured to welcome HRH Duchess of Gloucester and uplifted by the choral performances from @LivCathChoir, @Southwarkcathed and @StPaulsChoir choirs, as we gave thanks for all those we serve.
I’m rather excited about being in @StPaulsLondon tomorrow as a Treasurer of @ClergySupportUK for the annual Festival Service. It’s their 367th time, but my first. I re-dyed the black on my clergy shirt so I don’t look too shabby for the occasion. @churchofengland
