Multiple explosions have been reported in the Strait of Hormuz over the past few hours. Iran reportedly launched 6 anti-ship missiles at vessels attempting to pass through the strait under US protection on the Omani side. Iran's PGSA reports that ships later contacted Iranian authorities and apologized for using what Iran considers unauthorized routes, blaming their charterers for forcing them to take the route.
