EFCC Bursts Four Illegal Lithium Processing Plants, Arrests 14 Chinese, Nigerian in Ogun

Operatives of the Lagos Zonal Directorate 2ย of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested 14 Chinese and one Nigerian at four illegal lithium processing plants in the Ogere area of Ogun State.

The suspects were arrested on Friday, October 23, 2026, following credible intelligence and surveillance.

Upon their arrest, bags of lithium rocks, 18 mobile devices, four computer laptops, two decoders, a television remote control, and a trailer truck were recovered from the suspects.

The suspects will be charged to court upon conclusion of investigations.

โข We replaced bullion cubes eg Maggi, Knorr (or Maggi Knorr like many people call it๐คฃ๐คฃ), etc., with natural spices like turmeric, ginger, garlic, lots of onions, locust beans (iru), ogiri, okpe, cloves, aidan fruit (I'll see if I can attach the image), etc. including dehydrated meat/fish โ my wife makes a blend of all these spices and stuff.
โข We replaced commercial soaps like Joy, Premier, etc. with natural soaps that my wife makes from scratch. It's really easy (because she makes it, and I just watch).
โข We replaced toothpastes with pรกkรฒ (chewing sticks).

When you try to educate Nigerians about external dog whistling and stereotyping of their society, for example this FBI case, they would automatically assume you are a fraudster who is protecting fraud.
I always laugh because I know that fraudsters are usually the first to accuse others of fraud.
I donโt know who taught them that co-signing this dog whistling or stereotyping means they abhor fraud , or that it is somehow the way to solve fraud in their society.
Anyway, you will hear from ICE. Shebi na una dey look for American VISA up and down. You will also hear more from the global payment systems, which are controlled by the U.S. shebi na una dey find remote jobs too.

Due to too much hollywood movies, Nigerians believe the FBI is one omnipotent entity that can wave a magic wand and solve every crime and arrest anyone anywhere in the world. They have no idea that it is their local law enforcement that actually does the work the FBI ends up taking credit for.
The reason why your local law enforcement or military is seen as weak internally is simply because your leadership takes instructions from the U.S. government. Your puppet leadership works for Washington, not for you. Thatโs why you see the U.S. as your personal lord and saviour.

The continued intimidation and harassment of my supporters across the country, the latest being the case of Rilwan Olawale, is disturbing and unacceptable.
President Bola Tinubu has remained a huge beneficiary of our democracy and should not brazenly be destroying it by encouraging and facilitating violence.
Our campaign is peaceful and issue-driven, focused on offering Nigerians a credible alternative built on competence, accountability, justice, and compassion.
We have chosen the path of peace, not violence; persuasion, not intimidation. However, nobody should mistake our civility for weakness, our restraint for fear, or our commitment to peace for an absence of resolve. We will not be intimidated into silence, nor will we abandon Nigerians who believe in a New Nigeria that is possible and will be OK.
I therefore demand transparency regarding Rilwan Olawaleโs arrest, his release, respect for his rights, and an end to politically motivated harassment. No government or political party has the right to deny Nigerians the freedom to support a candidate of their choice.
We will remain peaceful but resolute. We will not resort to violence, but we will stand firmly and lawfully against every attempt to undermine our democratic rights.
