In December of 2024 during an interview with NBC Trump suggested that Mexico and Canada should both become a state if they want to continue to be subsidized.
Claudia Sheinbaum didn’t hyperventilate and declare that Trump was going to invade Mexico. She quietly negotiated.
Mark Carney on the other hand ran on fear just so the Liberals could retain power and continued to antagonize Trump and negotiate in bad faith because it was helpful to him politically.
And now that it appears the USA and Mexico have reached an agreement Mark Carney hatched his last resort and secretive scheme to join the EU.
It’s just shameful.
