Lotos is LFO 🚨
After internal discussion, we made the decision to part ways with @RYUUEsportsEU.
With that, our full Roster is looking for a new org. For info, dm @LTS_KekW.
Love & Peace to everyone!
I thought EU choking was for the teams not the organizers
EVERYTHING IS A TOURNAMENT! right?
sigh, just sigh.
- ALL open qualifier teams start from the lower bracket.
- no communication of any of this, everything has been built on "OPEN QUALIFIERS EVERYONE CAN QUAL".
- we find out not from Riot themselves but through an invited org tweet?
- no mention of any of this in the rulebook or on social media anywhere before UCAM's tweet, designed to be a haze.
- marketing campaign built on "OPEN" qualifiers, "fairness" & "equality" isn't really correct, is it? but when were you going to tell us this? did you ever plan to tell us this?
oh also haha, NO TECH PAUSES ARE ALLOWED in open qualifiers as the rulebook states this 😭
so not only do invited teams skip open qualifiers, they get to start in the upper bracket with everyone else from open qualifiers having to start in lowers?
the marketing campaign for 2027 was built on open qualifiers & fairness. everyone has to fight for their spot, we find out now only a few days before registration ends that this is not the case but you have partnered teams & invited teams in every region who are given an advantage to everyone else.
not only this but having to start in the lower bracket for EVERY OPEN QUALIFIER TEAM? for invited teams playoffs is double elimination, for open qualifier teams it's single elimination.
well best of luck to everyone in open quals! you're fighting a constant uphill battle. not that you knew it to this degree, of course.

"How good did it feel to get revenge on that group stage loss?"
THE END OF OUR EVC JOURNEY. ❤️
Our EVC Playoffs run comes to an end following a 1-2 defeat against Asterix DIV UK.
A huge thank you to KEV, NORTH, NAXEU, SWINGGOD and LLOYD for representing ERA Esports and giving their all throughout the tournament.
We also want to thank everyone who supported us along the way. Your support means a lot to us.
GGs to all teams involved. ❤️

I love how these “T1” orgs are suddenly crying about how unfair the ecosystem is because they didn't get partnered in VALORANT.
Where was this energy when other games introduced the exact same systems and they were benefiting from them?
It's only a problem when they're left out
To clarify
Riot changed the way Valorant works so that any team can make/win an international tournament
But they chose 4 teams in NA to become partners
They give those teams millions of $$ AND a skin in the game (they get a percentage of sales)
If an unpartnered org builds a moneyball team that absolutely crushes at an international event- those players will be poached by a partnered org
It happened to us with Brawk and Mada going to NRG it is happening to C9 who just lost partnership and already letting their players shop around
I just don't know if it is worth competing in the esport long term as compared to investing into an esport with a truly open system
late announcement but @asterixdiv CS2 DEBUT STARTING IN 30 MINUTES 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️
