we’re not really “designing” right now,
we’re just constantly switching contexts trying to not get left behind
every week there’s a new tool claiming to be the future → paper, pencil, magicpatterns, magicpath… now noon shows up with $44M and changes the narrative again
so instead of going deep, everyone’s just sampling everything
trying prompts here, generating screens there, tweaking in figma, jumping to code, back to AI again
half the industry is already inside code editors
the other half is still figuring out which tool is even worth committing to
fomo is doing more damage than we realise
because depth needs stability
and right now the stack itself is unstable
so no one is mastering anything
everyone is just trying to be early
eventually this will settle and a default will emerge
till then, we’re all just beta testers pretending to have a workflow 👀
Something I would love to see in @claudeai is the ability to switch between my Personal and Work accounts.
What would be even better is if Claude Code could do this automatically at a repo-level so any work repos used my work account.
That'd be a great QOL thing.

Using our new Color Picker in Stark for @Figma, we pull in all colors from local styles in your file. With a click you can select them to check contrast without any additional work.
Super fast!
Pro-Tip: Make sure you use Figma’s “/” naming convention to organize styles.
...Sooo I'm speaking at @webdirections Summit this Friday!
My talk will be for the designers out there who want to move further in their career but don't want to move into management.
Hope to see you there!

First impressions of @iAPresenter: I really dig it! ✅
Probably wouldn't use it for a conference talk but would definitely use it for presentations-in-a-pinch.
I like that while you have options for styling, it's pretty controlled so it's hard to make something that looks bad.
