I'm not so sure, unless they'd be willing to waive someone at the deadline to get back under the luxury tax. A minimum for Carter I think is around $2.4M, Cs have $1.7M of luxury tax space If you can land him on a Two Way that might be better since that $ doesn't go towards the cap and it still keeps your 15th spot open should something come up during the year
