Friends and fam! I’m beyond excited to announce our new game! A party bound by fate. Forge your legacy in a story-rich RPG of turn-based combat and branching choices, inspired by the classic Blood Sword saga. Here's the announcement trailer 👇 #dnd #IndieGames

I am releasing my 7th game over the course of 9 years. I left my corporate job to become an indie dev without knowing sh** about it. Burning through my savings full time. Almost quit on year 3 as I understood how hard it actually is. Finally made my breakthrough game on year 4!

The very first art peace I commissioned for Blood Sword was in 2019! However, instead of doing that I went on and made Fabled Lands which proved to be the smarter choice at the time! Then in 2023 we reunited with the same artist to create all character art and combat environments

I am still learning about the new personalized calendar system by Steam, but so far so good! The home page widget 'clicked' 18 days before my release date (verified via players AND my page analytics) and the game started gathering 200 WL on a daily basis! How far can we get?!

Blood Sword is on track to reach 8000 WL and it's only 19 days before its release! I am proud with the result and feel real satisfaction developing all those details that make up a great #RPG campaign. Soon to be in your hands! How quickly do kids grow up! #ScreenshotSaturday

My first commercially successful game - Fabled Lands, entered Early Acess 5 years ago. Sat at ~7k wishlists on launch day. I never imagined it'd gather 111,068 wishlist additions over the course of its lifetime! Amazing numbers for a text-driven game which I didn't anticipate.

We hit 50,000 wishlists today! If you told me back in 2024 when I made the Steam page that Lair would reach that number I would never have believed it. Thank you everyone for following and for the support. It means a lot.

Less thank 3 weeks left until the release of my next game. That would make 7 games since I started my indie dev journey 9 years ago (of which only the past 4 years were profitable!) 2 kids in the process. Made a 500 review game on Steam, let’s see if I can repeat the success!

A few people were asking about the new keyart for the game so here it is. It's an actual oil painting by Matthew Stawicki @StawickiArt . Yep, an actual physical piece of art by a real artist. I had to compress it for this post, the original file is massive. We wanted someone that would represent the old school Dungeons and Dragons art that we remember. Oliver was reading some Dragonlance books at the time and noticed Matt was the one who had done a lot of the covers (I loved his Dragons of a Fallen Sun cover) so we contacted him and he agreed to do the commission. I think it represents the game really well.

#Archrebel is probably the most heartfelt tribute to the classic REBELSTAR and LASER SQUAD games created by Julian Gollop. This demo is a complete short game, and you can easily put 20+ hours into it if you plan to see it all. #gamedev #Indiegamedev

I love how this encounter turned up visually. Hopefully the party will find out the twist sooner than later! #indiegame #gamedev #ScreenshotSaturday

My 9 games that shaped me! #My9Games
This was significantly harder than I thought it would be.

This happened a couple of years ago. A man asked me if I preferred Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones. I asked, "The show or the books?" He said the show. I answered, "In that case, Lord of the Rings." Then he said, what if I asked about the books? I firmly stated, "In that case DEFINITELY Lord of the Rings."
