coalesce(current_date, event_date) because I’m occasionally existential, but my code speaks middle school angst.

Typically the voronoi-polygons of Lloyd's Algorithm closely resemble hexagons, but aren't quite perfect. I'm playing around with constraining Lloyd's algorithm within a hexagonal perimeter, and it seems to find the perfect tiling all by itself. #satisfying #d3js

An Aylieanimation of @baabbaash ✨🐴♟closed nights tour of a 16x16 chessboard ♟ 🐴✨ It’s a possible journey that a knight could take to hit every single space on a chessboard. Bob has loads and they’re all really cool so I’d go have a scroll!

Today, I simply wanted to renew my passport online. After numerous attempts and changing my clothes several times, this example illustrates why I regularly present on Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning bias, equality, diversity and inclusion. #passport

Marketers: Clarity is the antidote to shiny object syndrome. Clarity is the antidote to overwhelm. Clarity is the antidote to imposter syndrome. But as painful as it may be, true clarity comes from engagement—not thought. Engage your audience. Gain clarity. Grow faster.

This is how Kathy Seirra’s Badass ends. This is everything to me. It’s what I want to do. How I want to live. I miss Kathy so much. I’m thankful for this powerful book. It’s affected me deeply and you should consider reading it too. ❤️

Some of the most powerful mechanisms of structural oppression — the power to name, to declare what is default, to define what is seen and not seen — are the fundamental tools of IA. Developing these tools without engaging with this truth is direct participation in those systems.

Women tend to have way more interesting scandals than men. Dudes usually get in trouble because they were horny or they were angry. We get in trouble because we start a fake blood company or pay $500k to get our kid on a rowing team.

This is what draws me to philosophy and marketing. Software engineers say things like “wow you can make stuff with code just by thinking it and typing it” yes and!! have you tried reimagining your entire reality. Wild

Fifth, body misalignment. This is my fav: The virtual and the physical body will never be perfectly aligned in time and space. The sensing+computation pipeline that mediates motion and display can only worsen alignment. Try petting a cat with Leap Motion. Ouch. 12/22

I don’t want to relate over trauma— although I know it exist in all of us. I don’t want that to be the bases of our connection. Teach me how you healed, made changes shifted your own narrative to better. It’s more than hurt out there.
