bat fella! he is free standing and can be removed from it's branch. this was a bit of a departure from the usual works I do but I'm glad I did it :) #bat #wings #sculpture

Progress shots from a scrawny little sculpture to the final painted piece. alway a joy to see how it all comes together when painting on those final stripes of the tiger :)

some progress pictures of the little baby dragon. as shown the nest changed concept a couple of times before I landed on one that fit with the vision I wanted. #art #dragon #WIP #progress

Isn't this baby adorable? who would not want one? XD This one gave me some problems with the nest as I was not liking the previous versions at all until I build the it from smaller twigs and roots to make it look as realistic as I could get. cute fella ^^ #dragon #sculpture #art

Something very simple. a bit of a monochrome sketchy drawing with the dragon and the cat in there. nothing complicated. Didnt come out quite how I wanted it but oh well #art #dragon #sketch

The piece belongs to a line of balanced sculptures called The Companions. It has its own little stand to stand on. It is balanced so it stands on it's leg and requires no additional support. Infact it is not attached to the base and can just as easily stand on your hand.

Something a little more morbid but non the less fascinating. The idea of creating these "scientific biological specimens" aestheatics is interesting. not a cup of tea for everyone but a little niche thing for some. #wetspecimen #dragon #sculpture #cryptid #cryptozoology

based from procreate tutorial book and eventually added my own spin. so here is a swimming Aku. The goal was to achieve that water surface and reflection. could have been done better but am happy enough with the final result ^^ Character: @Akulatraxas #dragon #swimming #art

last Smaugust of the month. the prompt was Love or Death. the concept is free for interpretation as I didnt have a clear direction with this one, just went with the flow. what do you think ? any opinions how to interprate this one? #sketch #dragon #smaugust

A last dich-attempt to catch the Smaugust's end . Here is Akulatraxas and the cat enjoying the view. what started as stars, turned to fireflies but could be both :) #sketch #dragon #smaugust

There is no better enjoyment than a well deserved sweet nap in life. Ended up experimenting for the pillow as I originally wanted to make the pillow real but - switched to sculpted to better control the shape of it. #sculpture #fox #art
