This is the kind of smooth brained thinking that paying for a blue check gets you these days! This dude wants the electoral college for state elections except he doesn’t give a shit about farmers, he just wants to be racist to black people online again
Rural conservatives in deep-blue states are effectively governed without consent. In New York, Republicans win most counties yet still lose statewide by 20 points because dense urban and suburban voters in New York City and its suburbs cast the decisive ballots and vote overwhelmingly Democratic. The result is that rural and upstate communities pay the taxes, live under the regulations, and absorb the costs set by politicians they consistently reject. Same story in California and Illinois. Population density has become a veto over the rest of the state.

The only thing funnier than Trump/Elon getting a million middle fingers last night is today Republicans are pivoting to Fuck the war, Fuck Israel, and Fuck Bibi in particular. Just a master class in shitting down your leg and deciding then best way to clean it is pissing yourself

Lmao you down bad bitch. It really is a certain type of cuck shit to pay all that money to watch all your boys get dominated. You paid millions to sit in a chair and watch someone else get humiliated. I guess Scott Satterfield was just the warm up
You should be ashamed of yourself. This Senate race is one thing, but the down-ballot effect, that is going to gut the great Texas “economic miracle” is a true travesty.

Lmao googles search is beyond fucking ass anyways, what’s the loss here??
JUST IN: Google announces schools that completely ban AI will also lose access to Google Search.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Google have just added tighter controls: “controls for Gemini, Gemini Notebook, Gemini in Classroom, and Google Search - access to these products will be entirely off for K-12 student accounts until school administrators explicitly turn them on.” blog.google/products-and-p…

Again he isn’t saying Duke doesn’t love basketball, he’s saying in Storrs there isn’t anything to do other than basketball. It’s a continuation of this quote from Ray Allen nitter.cf/adamzagoria/status/164…
The idea of Khamenia leaving Duke because it doesn’t care enough about hoops — rather than him simply not getting enough floor time — is a hilarious thing to say out loud.

Aka “hello I went to duke and I got my degree from the Stephen Miller Center of Understanding context”

The funniest thing about this is all the Duke fans (who love to say they don’t think about UConn at all but still wound up here) not understanding what Khamenia is saying. Ray Allen said it 30 years ago, Storrs is UConn, and UConn has basketball. There’s no city outside of campus
What’s #UConn’s selling point in the transfer portal? For Nik Khamenia, it wasn’t about bells or whistles when he left Duke, but finding a town revolving solely around hoops. For Silas Demary the year before, he left a Football School (Georgia) looking for a Basketball School

If you’ve ever been to UConn you go, “where the fuck am I there’s nothing here it’s in the middle of nowhere” and then BAM campus.

I can finally retire Fight Night Champion. Still a perfect game
To everyone who stayed in our corner: Fight Night is coming back. 🥊♥️ #FightNight

I hate that I have so many schedule related takes. But it should be illegal for the Season Opening Game to be anything other than the defending champions. Rings, Banner, season starts. Why the fuck did Boston and Detroit open the season at like 3 pm??
11
First, Novig is dumb as fuck. Second, things called “The Transfer Portal and NIL” kinda didn’t exist when Saban started so he couldn’t say, bring all his good players from his last school and pay for other good ones to come fill the roster holes
THIS IS WILD 😳 Curt Cignetti has won 32 of his first 34 games at Indiana, compared to just 26 for Nick Saban through his first 34 games at Alabama. Nick Saban: 26 wins (76.5%) Curt Cignetti: 32 wins (94.1%)

It falls apart in many places but nowhere more obviously than both of these conferences getting one playoff bid. You have the last three national champions in one conference, and I believe zero playoff *appearances* in the other.
Spent the last 15 minutes staring at this hypothetical conference realignment. It’s perfect. No conference championships — best regular season conference record wins conference. Each conference sends winner to CFP + 6 overall at-large bids (16-team CFP).
