In the presence of glyphosate resistant ryegrass the majority responded a robust glyphosate rate + spike would be their preferred effective choice.
In this study glyphosate + spike is actually the least effective strategy! See below a few photos and a new predictive poll.👇
Minimal variation with the low rate of paraquat 231g/ha applied under carefully controlled conditions: control always >95%. Surprising this strategy was the most effective and yet lowest confidence in it as the pool show the least preferred.
When we trial the chemistry in pots against glyphosate resistant ARG, there is plenty of options that works close to 100%. Then there is the real world Matt is battling with 😁🙈
Brown manures needing a rye grass mop up - the size of them shows they escaped the double knock with a decent level of gly resistance ✊- bringing down these will be a challenge and difficult in one pass 🌱 but critical to do so. @robbert115 @CropDoctor54 @agrobaz

-still use glyphosate at robust rates + spike,
-switch to Paraquat (new low rates) + spike or
-diversify to glufosinate + spike for knock-down? A trial comparing 33 different spike strategies. Easy poll 👇
