The answer is because the Left's entire model of society is based on socialization. They believe humans are trapped in an oppressive system by existing socialization that's wrong, so they progressively aim to resocialize (brainwash) everyone into a different social model.
Counterpoint: the teachings that are specific to Christ are bad, and even Christians don't believe in them. All the good stuff is from Judaism.
So I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about Christianity lately, and while clearly it’s been used as an excuse to justify a lot of really horrible things, Christ’s teachings themselves are incredibly compelling.
I don’t agree with everything in the New Testament — I think Paul was a jerk, for one thing — but Jesus himself makes me wish I was the kind of person who could actually believe in God. I think it would be very comforting to believe in a loving deity, and the promise of eternal life. It would be wonderful to believe that I’ll see my loved and lost again when I die. I just don’t know how to go from “that would be nice” to “I believe.”
There’s so much suffering in the world, and it can’t all be blamed on evil people and bad choices. I can’t reconcile the idea of a God who loves us so much that he sent his Son to die for us with the fact that kids get cancer, for example — and I also struggle with the incongruence of that loving God and the idea of Hell, which is the most terrible concept imaginable.
I don’t think I could condemn anyone to eternal torture, no matter how much I hated them, or how much evil they did. Wipe monsters out of existence after a period of punishment? Sure. But Hell? I don’t think anything a human being can do merits eternal suffering. That’s one of the biggest obstacles between me and Christianity, I think.

You fundamentally misunderstood the problem with left wing cancel culture. The problem was that normal people were being targeted and fired for normal opinions. A guy was fired for unintentionally making the "ok" symbol with his hand outside his truck window. We've never allowed people to celebrate murder in polite society.
Why would they use that photo of him? He looks vicious.
One of the saddest casualties of the past 25 years is the @nytimes, whose credibility has died an agonizing, public death.
In case you need another reason to abolish school:
Elon Musk is not a genius, and not even strikingly intelligent. Listen to the man speak, don't say "goo goo, gah gah, capitalistic success=muh genius."
His academic record is also meh. No honors from Penn, took seven years to graduate, lied about getting into Stanford's PhD in physics program (he was admitted into their grad program in Materials Science and Engineering), decent but not spectacular in high school. It's a mystery he even got in to Penn.

If in four years there's a good chance we'll all be dead, that's all the more reason to live a meaningful, purpose-driven life.
The people building AI earnestly believe that it could kill us all by the end of the decade. This is not a marketing stunt. If anything, many executives and senior researchers will couch their phrasing in the press to sound sensible - but I hear the same people express fear privately. No other human activity poses this level of danger.

The AI trophy value of these named problems is worth more to the Tech elite than they are to the people who actually laid the groundwork.
In short, those who create value as researchers, find themselves unable to capture that value.
We should all look at this as market failure.

Urban warfare scholar John Spencer says Hamas has created a uniquely barbaric form of warfare that much of the world fails to understand.
Hamas doesn’t merely accept the deaths of its own civilians as collateral damage.
He says civilian deaths are an integral part of its political strategy.
