Here is what I learned from our first meeting yesterday. Much of the work that was done in the initial failed attempt between 2004 and 2014 is still valid and viable. it is being used or being updated and used. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2025.
In addition to our group, there is an equity advisory group, there is an executive steering committee in addition to the joint legislative group.
For those of you in the Portland/Vancouver Metro area, I have been selected as a community member for the Community Advisory Group for the Interstate Bridge Replacement Project. Our first meeting is today All meetings are open to the public. I welcome your future input/comments
I am thrilled to share some exciting news (below) that we received this morning. A very long and challenging journey has produced a wonderful ending.
We are finally ready and able to decorate for Christmas. We have lots of Christmas “stuff” and haven’t been able to decorate for a variety of reasons for the past 4 Christmas’s. Wrhave taken everything out and will keep what we use and what works and get rid of everything else.
