$RKLB'S HASTE HAS SECURED $486M IN CONTRACTS WHILE EVERYONE WATCHES NEUTRON
- March: $190M for 20 Pentagon test flights
- May: $30M for 3 Anduril launches
- July: $266M for 12 Space Force launches + 6 options
- 2 more launches booked by an undisclosed defense customer for 2027
That's 37 launches plus 6 options across four deals, with $486M in publicly disclosed contract value
I think HASTE could be one of RKLB's biggest stories in 2027 that nobody's talking about
$RKLB'S SPACE SYSTEMS BUSINESS GETS PAID EVEN WHEN IT LOSES THE CONTRACT
Some cool stats I found while investigating RKLB's space system revenue is that a lot of RKLB's competitors are also its customers
In December, the SDA gave a missile-tracking order to 4 different companies:
- Lockheed Martin: $1.1B
- L3Harris: $843M
- Rocket Lab: $805M
- Northrop Grumman: $764M
Other winners also use RKLB's StarLite sensors, which could take its total to ~$1B
It goes beyond this one order. Northrop has ordered ~$58M of laser terminals from Mynaric, Lockheed, Northrop, and Airbus are all buyers of RKLB's solar panels and reaction wheels
Peter Beck: "Even when we lose, we kind of win."
It's 81% of Rocket Lab's revenue and nearly double from a year earlier. Would love to see another big jump on Nov 9

The satellite can image Earth day or night. It helps monitor natural disasters, infrastructure, and other activity on the ground
iQPS aims to eventually monitor locations worldwide every 10 minutes
Mission success! Repeat customer @QPS_Inc has made contact with its latest QPS-SAR satellite following their tenth ride on Electron.
We are proud to be the primary launcher for the Japan-based Earth imaging company's commercial synthetic aperture radar (SAR) constellation.
Up next: Our 100th Electron launch.
$RKLB'S HEAD OF NATIONAL SECURITY SITS DOWN WITH A U.S. SENATOR THIS WEDNESDAY
- Brad Clevenger, Rocket Lab's president of national security, joins Senator Kevin Cramer for a fireside chat at UND's Space Operations Summit on Nov 4
- Clevenger was the President & CEO of SolAero Technologies, which was acquired by RKLB in 2022
TWO $RKLB BUILT SPACECRAFT FIRE THEIR ENGINES FOR MARS THIS WEEK
After nearly a year near Earth, NASA's ESCAPADE probes will swing past Earth and fire their engines to head for Mars:
- Blue's 9.5-minute burn: Nov 7
- Gold's burn: Nov 9
- Arrival at Mars: Sept 7-9, 2027
Rocket Lab says they'll be the first satellites to fly from Earth orbit to Mars orbit under their own power

🚨 $GSAT RAISES CONFLICT-OF-INTEREST CONCERNS OVER $RKLB & $IRDM DEAL
In an FCC letter dated Oct 30, Globalstar warns that Rocket Lab's role as its supplier could create a conflict once it owns Iridium:
- RKLB built 17 satellite buses for Globalstar under a $143M subcontract with MDA
- Also built its flight and ground software and satellite control center
- Globalstar says this gives Rocket Lab the means to favor Iridium who's Globalstar's rival
Globalstar says it does not oppose the deal but wants the FCC to examine these risks
$RKLB CEO PETER BECK HAS PEOPLE STRESSED FLYING THE JETSON ONE
Jetson ONE is a single-seat electric aircraft:
- Top speed of 63 mph
- Up to 20 minutes of flight time
- Controlled with a joystick
- No pilot's license is needed in the US
People on X are telling him to be careful 🤣
$RKLB IS HIRING A BUNCH OF ENGINEERS TO BUILD AI FOR MISSILE-TRACKING SATELLITES
I found an interesting detail on Rocket Lab's careers page:
- 13 machine learning, algorithm and scientist roles at Rocket Lab Optical Systems (formerly GEOST, acq Aug'25)
- they'll support Tranche 3 of the SDA's missile-tracking satellite network
- Some will develop neural networks to process infrared imagery while others focus on real-time image processing for space-based sensors
This shows Rocket Lab isn't just building the sensors, but also the software that reads what they see
CITIZENS REITERATES $RKLB $90 PRICE TARGET & "OUTPERFORM" RATING

BILL ACKMAN: SPACEX MIGHT HAVE TO BORROW $1 TRILLION FOR ITS AI BUILDOUT
Speaking in Mexico City on Oct 31, Ackman said:
- SpaceX "might have to borrow a trillion dollars" to hit the compute goals Musk laid out during Q3 earnings
- AI companies are now "competing at sovereign levels" for debt
- He still thinks the spending is sustainable because returns on compute beat the cost of borrowing
