Voted this morning. Found two places where I appeared to vote against my conscience, but I feel confident with my research that I made the right decision. Also, took me 20+ minutes to fill out. Still don’t understand in-person voting.

Aside: as an independent, I voted in the CO Republican primary. I voted for the most moderate Republicans. The ones who won got really extreme really quick. That crap might work on a national stage. I doubt CO has much stomach for it.

I say this partially to vent my anxieties but also sort of performatively, as a wish, to say “gosh I wish more people with hot takes would just say what their reasoning was and have a conversation and admit that maybe they didn’t get it perfect so we could all learn something”
