Agreed. Lean into the opportunity to learn about the deeper source of what’s behind “those looks”. Often time it’s concern or fear that comes out of a shared desire of wanting the best for our children. From that place we can find connection.

Homeschool, private school and charters now enroll over 17 million students. This growth has mainly happened without any state funding. Once funding follows the student, these numbers will skyrocket.

Kid scores 100% on a retest... Only given a 70%. For what possible justification do we put scores in the gradebook that do not match what a student knows? There is no average time to learn something. Punishing students for taking longer to learn something seems archaic
