Vibe coding makes SaaS cheaper to build. You still need to understand workflows, edge cases, team coordination, systems of record, and long-term maintenance. AI speeds up the build. Product expertise decides if it lasts.

To build something real, you must question everything. Metrics, timing, audience, visibility, engagement, growth. You get one shot at this. Build something you chose deliberately, not just what the default playbook handed you.

"Everyone will AI-code their own SaaS." That's like saying everyone with a kitchen will cook every meal. People pay to save time. Builders, keep solving real problems.

"Why pay for SaaS when I can prompt the software and run it myself?" My fellow vibe coder, have you met maintenance? Every bug, update, and broken workflow becomes your job. Your time has a price.

The strongest SaaS bear case is margin compression. Building is easier. Competition keeps growing. Switching gets simpler. Those fat SaaS margins were always going to come down. "SaaS is dead" is still a lazy take.

Builders, look closely at the dull, messy, risky work hiding in plain sight. Broken workflows are opportunities for focused AI products and vertical SaaS. Build for the operators who live with the problem every day. Solve one painful workflow well.

Builders, pick a specific workflow and go deep. AI helps you ship faster. Building in public brings you closer to real feedback. That focused context can produce better predictions and stronger products. Specificity is a huge advantage.

I've said it before: building in public is the easiest way to create opportunities on X. You can start before you have a project. Use this weekly system: Share one lesson. Document one experiment. Support one builder. Consistency makes you visible.

AI is an excellent coder. It's a shaky software engineer. It can lose the plot in complex codebases, hard debugging sessions, and serious testing. Then it confidently tells you everything is perfect. Review every claim before you ship.

i think it's interesting how the perception of building in public has shifted. back then if you were shipping and sharing openly you were basically a pioneer. now everyone assumes you're just doing it for clout and not actually building anything real. LMAO

"Everyone will vibe-code their own SaaS" skips the hard part. AI makes building faster. Great products still require workflow knowledge, edge-case handling, team coordination, and maintenance. Use AI to ship. Bring product expertise to make it last.

Building in public can be brutal 😂 You share the idea, document every step, and launch after months of work. Then another builder sees the path and ships their version faster. Your real edge is the community you build along the way.

SaaS is getting compressed. AI lets small teams recreate generic products faster than ever. If your only moat is features, you're in trouble.
