Our appetite for and habituation to violence will be our society’s downfall. Public executions don’t teach respect for human dignity and God’s image; they make violence a spectacle for public entertainment, and they corrupt the young and innocent. In modern America, there is no need for executions — they only breed vengeance, violence and dehumanization. Satan loves this.

This is sick. You can support justice for Nidal Hasan’s victims without making his execution a source of entertainment. This administration so often governs for the online mob. It’s depraved.

In 2018, I was the first to report that Kimberly Guilfoyle was pushed out at Fox News due to misconduct allegations, which included sexual harassment. One of the things I reported on — and there’s a lot I didn’t include in my report — was that Guilfoyle had a penchant for showing photos of male genitalia in the Fox News makeup room, sort of like someone showing off photos of a new car to their colleagues. When Guilfoyle was told nearly a year in advance that her contract would not be renewed, she panicked over money and, obviously, the loss of influence. It was all she could talk about: money, money, money, and another favorite topic of hers… And I’ll never forget what a colleague of hers told me at the time: “All she talks about is dick and money.” My story here: bit.ly/4pXDhnv
NEW An incredible, but not surprising, story in the Wall Street Journal about Kimberly Guilfoyle, US Ambassador to Greece. Just six days before her Senate confirmation hearing to become ambassador to Greece, Kimberly Guilfoyle urgently pressured a Trump donor to pay $100,000 directly to her American Express account, telling him, “It won’t show up anywhere if you wire money to American Express,” messages obtained by the Wall Street Journal reveal. “Honey please I need you to get this done for me today,” she said to Eric Deters, a Trump supporter who was seeking her help with a dispute over tax deductions and some policy matters he wanted pursued. Deters said Guilfoyle promised him that if he came up with the $100,000 to pay her American Express bill, “I will be your Trump ride or die, forever and ever.” He said she ultimately delivered nothing. Deters had paid Guilfoyle $300,000 over several years for speaking appearances. Guilfoyle boasted to Deters about her extraordinary access to the Trump administration: “Every secretary of you know defense, transportation, treasury commerce IRS commissioner everyone gets right back to me.” Guilfoyle also specifically invoked FBI Director Kash Patel, misspelling his first name as “cash Patel.” An FBI spokesman said she had not lobbied Patel. As her confirmation hearing approached, Guilfoyle asked Deters to prepare a letter establishing that he owed her two $50,000 payments for consulting services. Deters said she was concerned about both the legality and appearances of the arrangement. Guilfoyle was privately telling friends she was broke while preparing to become ambassador, despite disclosing substantial assets and income. Full Story (Gift Link): on.wsj.com/4zr1pE1

This post twists Trump's (unclear, meandering) words into basically the opposite of what he was actually saying. He was saying that what we're experiencing NOW (high energy prices) is a small price to pay compared to the hypothetical of Iran getting a nuke and attacking a city
Trump on Iran: Let 'em take out Los Angeles and San Diego, it's a small price to pay

NEW KFILE looking at James Talarico’s record on policing in 2020. Talarico told a youth group then calling for defunding police that it was "rich" that "defund the police" was "off limits" in political debate when Texas had spent decades defunding public schools and health services. Said, "Our system of policing is deeply broken. We must replace it with something new and something better," and asked about instead sending "highly-trained crisis interventionists," some for some emergencies. In June 2020, he donated $2,500 to the Austin Justice Coalition, a group calling for defunding police, a donation he later defended. He also criticized Gov. Abbott's proposal to cut revenue to cities like Austin over local decisions to reduce police funding. In 2022, Talarico said that if the country took "just half of what we spent on wars, prisons, and policing" and spent it on education, health care, and jobs, "we could make prisons obsolete." Talarico's campaign says he "did not call for and does not support defunding the police" and has voted to send billions of dollars to local law enforcement. cnn.com/2026/10/05/politics/…

Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito said the 2022 Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization case, which overturned Roe v. Wade, required “courage” from all of the justices in the majority. "We didn't know it when we produced the draft that was leaked, but it required courage to go ahead with that because of the implications," he said. He told CBS News' @JanCBS that he lost friends over the Dobbs decision. And he called physical threats and harassment "quite disturbing" and "a danger for the courts."
