Unova is lucky that someone at Gamefreak either really likes it or actually cares about the main games having balanced rep cause a lot of the newer games have fuckton of gen 5 Mons (especially SwSh snd Z-A) while a roster made by the average person would be exactly like this
Unite is ending and I gotta say, Unova's roster might be the sorriest I've ever seen.

As a VGC newcomer it's really interesting how much less coverage matters in doubles. Like it makes sense, you can cover weaknesses with your other Mon and you often want both a spread and single target version of your STAB, but I never really thought about it before Champions.
I just want to share this with the champions newcomers that this is a real set that won a regional and continue to influence the meta afterwarda

In gen 3, you can lower a Pokemon's defense so much that the damage calculation breaks (Explosion and Self Destruct used to half defense when calculating the damage)

American comics are about iconic characters Manga is about iconic stories, which happen to include iconic characters This is why Marvel can take these characters and basically do whatever they want with the stories. Meanwhile adapting Manga and changing the story is basically unforgivable lol
Every time I say this comic nerds get really mad at me but the reason manga took off so hard and American comics are dying is because a manga series starts at vol 1 and goes to vol 2 and then vol 3

Masako Nozawa comments on the use of generative AI in voice acting: "I can't forgive using it without asking. I want people to follow the rules.” After watching AI videos of her voice: "This is not my voice. Using it without asking is unforgivable. It's the same as stealing, and it makes me angry. My voice is mine, and my acting is mine too. If anyone uses even a little of it, they should get permission." "What (AI) makes might sound like me. It might even be a perfect copy. But it has no heart, does it? Without heart, it's no good, whatever the role. Even a voice that's only crying is different when you cry with real feeling. That's what I believe." To young people aiming to become voice actors in the AI era: "Work hard so that people say, as a voice actor, it absolutely has to be that person. Without heart, you're just reading the letters of the lines, so make them living words."

Not that Toriyama doesn't deserve glaze but something I wish anyone acknowledged whenever I see one of these posts is that a huge reason DB can look like this is because the story is almost nothing but fighting in plain locations. It doesn't have to balance out any complexities
Took a peek at modern days mangaka's panelling and burst out laughing.

You can say that simply means that a simple story is what's best suited for the manga medium, but if you want variety you gotta accept that most stories aren't gonna look like DB just because they have more stuff they gotta fit into each page/chapter to have a reasonable pace.
