Blaming officials for a loss is foolish. But saying “convert the 3rd and 9” Is a bit disingenuous. Sure, it happens. Mathematically it happens much less often than 3rd and short, to the point that OCs scheme specifically to avoid it.

Bad call sure. People acting like the game ended there is so ridiculous. Things that happened after that call: -UGA sacked Russell on 3rd down knocking Bama out of FG range. Gunner threw a dime to Elyiss Williams for a 1st down on 3rd and 7 from UGA’s 10. -Bama DB had a stupid personal foul penalty that ended it. Bad calls happen. Sucks. Bama had chances to overcome it.

In my humble opinion this is one of the best moments of the Kalen DeBoer era.. This is the type of accountability that establishes culture!!!! The passion from coach Deboer— the players and HaHa forcing 5 to receive the message. This is what GREAT teams do. Win or loss, this is what the Alabama Standard looks like. This team is going to be so much better because of this moment!
