Chris Long: “It ain’t the only bad offensive line in the league. And at some point Jalen Hurts has prove that he hasn’t been propped up by an all world offensive line and two No. 1 WRs outside and a RB that was on the Madden cover. I’m sorry.”
Exactly this.
Bad teams commit penalties
Bad teams have no depth at key spots
Bad teams get hit more than hit and get hurt more
Bad teams turnover coordinators every year
Bad teams don’t maximize rookie QB contracts
Bad teams trade picks for crap players
Bad teams blame refs

Not sure why the Commanders are still embracing the W, let alone pairing it with a spear.
I would just go with the featherless spear and never touch the primary helmets or uniforms again.
(Not sure who made this graphic, but credit to whoever did).
EXCLUSIVE: Sources tell me the Washington Commanders are planning to change their primary logo for the 2027 season
And that logo is a familiar one: the team’s new alternate W logo with a spear running through it, unveiled in April with their new black “Hail Raiser” uniform
I’m also told there are no plans for further changes to Washington’s branding in 2027 *as of now*
Here’s more + why I think the switch is a smart move👇

🇵🇹 Someone Finally Had the Balls
In my column last week, after watching him play against Wales, I once again asked why nobody in Portuguese football had the balls to tell Cristiano Ronaldo what was blindingly obvious to everyone else.
Apparently, Jorge Jesus did.
And Ronaldo's reaction has been predictably pathetic, narcissistic to his very core.
At 41 years old, one of the greatest footballers ever produced was left on the bench for a single international match. The manager decided the game didn't require him. Ronaldo was reportedly irritated, subsequently missed team training and has now left the Portugal camp after talks with the federation, promising that one day he will reveal "the truth".
The truth may be considerably less dramatic than Ronaldo imagines.
He's 41. His powers have hugely diminished. Portugal possess a magnificent generation of footballers. The manager has every right to decide that Cristiano Ronaldo doesn't need to play.
Portugal's mistake was allowing this nonsense to continue for so long.
They indulged him, accommodated him and massaged an already monumental ego, presumably hoping that age might eventually introduce some realism. Perhaps Ronaldo would recognise the moment himself, bow out gracefully and allow Portuguese football to move forward without forcing anybody to push its greatest player through the exit door.
They badly misjudged him.
The same ferocious self belief that helped create the footballer has seemingly left the man incapable of accepting what every athlete eventually must.
Father Time doesn't negotiate. He doesn't care about your medals, your records, your Instagram followers or your private jet.
Someone finally had the balls to treat Cristiano Ronaldo like another member of the squad.
So Ronaldo took his ball and went home like an unhappy child at the play park.
Pathetic.
This image gives me the fear.
Hey @grok, if you were a human, what would you do to escape from this position??

The Norm entrance jokes on Cheers were famously tough to write.
George Wendt delivered 200+ of them over 11 seasons. As the show’s popularity grew, so did expectations. Writers said the real genius wasn’t always on the page; it was Wendt’s physical comedy, delivery, and timing.
That is a good line.

Sonny Styles was EVERYWHERE in Washington’s win over Seattle.
4 TKL, 1 INT, 2 PD, 1 FF, 1 QBH vs Seahawks
The rookie came away with his first career interception and forced a fumble against the defending champs.

ONE OF THE GREATEST PLAYS EVER:

When Glenn McGrath, Mark Taylor and Michael Slater sit down and call Wasim Akram the best bowler they ever faced, you don’t argue. You just listen.
Short run-up. No jump. Ball already at 145 from the first delivery. Late swing both ways with the new ball and the old ball. Batters playing French cricket just to survive.
That’s not fast bowling. That’s art.
The Sultan of Swing remains unmatched.
Respect from the very best says everything.

Two things can be true:
1. Caleb Williams' reaction to getting hurt and seeing what's supposed to be a huge season for both him and the Bears flash before his eyes before knowing the severity of the injury is completely understandable. It was frustration, not pain.
2. It's objectively funny that he's just totally fine after all the dramatics and it's ok to make jokes about it
Honestly I would hope Caleb can laugh at himself a little about it too
