not to put too fine a point on it, but i have dealt with groomers in my time and they were closer to "antiship", while the "proshippers" i've known have always been extremy diligent about consent and ethical conduct. fictional tastes do not equate to real life morals and ethics.

anastasya does care a lot about it, if she didnt want any love at all she wouldnt be trying to hard to break the curse and save everyone. shes just forcing herself to take a practical approach rather than allow her emotions to get tangled

up bc she cant tell what is genuine love and what is the cursed love she loved her people, and even if she doesnt remember her husband i feel like she tragically loved him too. i think her act of defiance against her authority is a form of love in and of itself
