His theory for why his constituency is in the right for getting mad at Indian-Americans enjoying themselves at a football game is, "the fact that we're mad at you proves you haven't assimilated."

I am opposing Section 219, that would integrate our military with Israel’s.
The United States does not have this arrangement with any other country in the world.

Hasan Piker talked about the soft-cancelling of his event at @UTAustin. A chatter had mentioned in the chat that they got a refund for their ticket for the event, and Hasan explained that the university is being as difficult as possible. They have facilities on campus that can accommodate over 2,000 people, but are choosing to be difficult on purpose. Hasan has also received death threats that have blueprints and thorough planning depicting how people will try to assassinate him. It has been fucking unhinged.

Pedro Mendoza Chavez was caught up in ICE’s dragnet in San Antonio, leaving him hospitalized with a head injury that required stitches.
His wife has no idea where he is and has not been able to speak with him. My office is in contact with his family, and we will continue monitoring his case.

Burry claims "Oracle manufactured an extra 19% of revenue" through these steps:
1. A customer prepays Oracle $10B today for cloud capacity to be delivered 3 to 5 years from now
2. Oracle books that as an $11.9B contract liability, accreting interest at 6% over the wait
3. When Oracle finally delivers the capacity, it recognizes the full $11.9B as cloud infrastructure revenue against the original $10B
4. The extra $1.9B becomes revenue for capacity that was never used and work that was never performed
This would be bad news for $ORCL investors if true
$ORCL bonds crossing 8.3% for the first time after Larry Ellison used the Enron trick (first time anyone did since Enron) of “Customer Pre-Payments with a Significant Interest Component” to hide Operating Cash Flow Problems.
Notably Oracle also was the first Publicly Listed US company outside of drillers and Miners (or Covid) to use Force Majeur to avoid paying on a data center lease it couldn’t afford, since… you guessed it… Enron.
