People who traffic in trade rumors and speculation are my least favorite species of sports journalist. They think they make the league and a team more interesting and enjoyable to follow. I think that’s crap. If something happens, report on it. There. I feel better now.

The Jazz are not worried about Lauri fitting the timeline. They firmly believe Lauri will be this level of player the next time they are good as a team
Hearing @sportsiren went to a Utah Stars game at the Salt Palace with Moses Malone and Ron Boone just made everything she says on the broadcast that much more credible in my book. I was probably a few sections over in 8 year old heaven borrowing my dad’s binoculars. 🥹

I’ve always loved basketball because it’s about building a team that’s equal to more than the sum of its parts. Glad to see this expansion into Africa because for a rising continent, this can be about a lot more than what happens on the court.
On a landmark day for the NBA in Africa, a powerful video on how sports make a difference. @NBA_Africa
When the globetrotters test marketed this play the entire Washington Generals yelled “enough!” and finally walked out in a show of solidarity with their hapless weak side defender.
