First Diamond League victory for 🇰🇪 Timothy Cheruiyot in 1,735 days – since the 2021 Diamond League final in Zurich (Sept. 9th, 2021) 💎
As close as it gets 😅
The #OsloDL Dream Mile comes down to the smallest of margins… so small, in fact, that Yared Nuguse 🇺🇸 and Timothy Cheruiyot 🇰🇪 are both given finish times of 3:48.21 and Nuguse is initially credited as the winner, before Cheruiyot gets named the official champ in the photo finish.
Cam Myers 🇦🇺 finishes third in 3:48.35 and Hobbs Kessler takes fourth in 3:49.13 as the top ten finishers all break 3:50.
