Chopper build journal update!
Building a big twin evo chopper, with a 5-speed transmission, in a frame intended for use with a shovelhead and 4-speed transmission, has presented a number of challenges.

Once the fender was mounted to the seat cross member, I measured the bottom mount distance and fabricated a standoff from 3/4" round, drilled out all the way through on the lathe, then tapped for a 3/8-16 bolt on both sides.
ALT This is the first one I made. I didn't like it so I made another one after. I don't think I have a picture of that one.
Cigarette lighter starter mounting plate and housing
Needs design and mockup
Will have a front plate with a cover plate housing to keep electric internals clear of grime, debris, weather (as much as possible)
Mount plate must be 31/32 inner diameter
