Arvo Pärt once remarked that with his tintinnabuli technique one could set the entirety of Mann's Joseph and His Brothers to music. That seems incredibly daunting, but if I ever get the opportunity of a lifetime, I'd like to try. I'll succeed if I do.
Probably my favorite composer out there composing in historical styles. It wears its influences on its sleeve, but the composer has so totally absorbed this music that it comes out like breathing. So it doesn't sound contrived or forced.

Cool, cool. Sure, it wasn’t for sale. That’s the narrative Art of Play is gonna go with 👍 so the whole conversation we had when I asked you if it was for sale whilst pointing to the price tag hanging on the wall with the title Singing Bird didn’t happen as you elevator eyed me saying in a condescending tone “yes, it’s for sale but it costs 15,000 dollars so if you’d like me to find something comparable for you I can.” That all never happened and now it’s not for sale. Okay, cool. So you’re not only rude, you’re also a liar. Got it ✅
And by the way, I obviously support small businesses because I was literally at a small business trying to purchase things. I love small businesses and know they are important and I always support them, but you don’t get a free pass to treat people less than in your store just because you are a small business. It’s not that hard to be kind. I never blast people but you my friend were an exception.
Your store is really cool.
Unfortunately, you aren’t.
Holst’s tune here is one that whenever I hear it I think “damn. wish i wrote that.”
Delightful arrangement of my favorite Christmas hymn.

With all due respect to my Catholic moots, this is my main issue with Catholicism. In theory the Pope is supposed to be a spiritual advisor, but in practice he ends up being a political figure whose authority often supersedes that of God himself. This is what led to the Protestant Reformation happening, and it’s an issue that still hasn’t been resolved to this day. In Christianity you’re supposed to submit to God, no one else.
If you are a Catholic you need to submit to Rome. It’s non-negotiable.
The Pope is the Vicar of Christ, meaning he’s the representative for Christ on Earth and the spiritual leader of the Catholic Church.
This doesn’t mean you need to agree with everything he says, especially when he’s speaking in a personal capacity on matters not relating to the Church, but when he’s discussing Church doctrine you should listen.
