Great chart below/right from @TheIFS about ridiculous tax cliff at £100k cuasing *obscene* marginal tax rates. But you can draw a very similar chart (left) for higher earning doctors affected by the stupid & ill-conceived #taper which is **really damaging** waiting list recovery @wesstreeting @RachelReevesMP Doctors want to help with waiting lists, but they cannot #PayToWork RT if you want government to finally #ScrapTheTaper

To be brutally honest I’m not sure many people understand how difficult it is for people who have 9 years of missing data, and no backing data, to have a clue what to do. But yet here we are with a failing pension administrator expected to “estimate” It’s a bad joke

(6) in my view it’s past time @DHSCgovuk @HMRCgovuk to put out urgent guidance that due to the administration failures of @nhs_pensions (and to be fair other pensions agencies affecting doctors) that deadlines need to be formally relaxed around RPSS and SA for 23/24 RT if agree
