I’ve founded two companies. Both were way too early. That’s always the problem when you try and go first. Thankfully both survived long enough to see the market move in their direction. Structural changes take time and you need to survive long enough to be right.

One of the toughest jobs I have as a CEO is building an effective leadership team.
I met with a large multigenerational family office last week. I asked them what their investment philosophy was and they responded with the following:
1. Buy well
2. Add value
3. Sell to an idiot

Multifamily credit spreads have blown out by 25-40 bps the last 2 weeks. Interesting to see what impact that has on transaction activity the next few quarters.
Starting to see the flight to local play out in the meeting & event industry as organizations look to cut back on travel costs. Most expensive part of a meeting or event is airfare and accommodations.
The bond markets spoke and the President had no choice but to listen. Regardless, volatility is here to stay and will undoubtedly have an impact on growth the next few years while business leaders wait to see the impact of the new economic world order.
How is it possible you can declare economic war without the legislative branch of government? Article I of the Constitution being tested.
