Two guys dressed out for practice today that hadn’t been on Wednesday: #Sooners freshman TE Ryder Mix and sophomore RB Tory Blaylock.
Neither did indy, but both dressed and stretched, as did David Stone.

As we enter 2026, I had to reflect on how special the '25 Offense was:

44.2 Pnts/Game
#1 Player Nationally in Total Yds
4571 Pass Yds 46 Tds 17.9 Yards/Cmp

Blessed to end my sophomore season as the #1 QB in the nation in total yards, passing and rushing, leading my team to a 15–1 season and a Texas State Championship appearance for the first time since 2015.
Grateful for all my teammates and coaches, what a ride. We’ll be back💯 #truedualthreatQB #family

Frisco ISD has 12 schools but 0 have won a #uilstate football title. Lone Star is the only 1 to make a final losing in 2015 to Cedar Park. Jeff Rayburn has waited 10 years to get FLS back to the final. He graciously took a few minutes to talk. Scroll down to learn more about FLS!
Led by dual threat QB Trey Wright & a slew of future CFB stars Ryder Mix (BOOMER) Davian Groce (Florida), Jordan Deck (Michigan) & Karece Hoyt (Baylor) among others, they'll be a test for Smithson Valley's stellar defense. They scored 58 on Dallas Highland Park in the quarterfinals, the team SV beat in the final last year, and 56 on Aledo, the most ever given up by them in 163 playoff games. The video in the tweet is from round 2 vs Georgetown (courtesy KTBC-TV Austin).
They've put several alums in the NFL despite only being in existence since 2010. Ashton Jeanty, Nick Bolton, Jaylan Ford, Marvin Mims are all alums along with P.J. Washington of the Dallas Mavs.
Frisco Lone Star does have state titles in girl's track (2013) & boy's soccer (2023). The school opened in 2010 the same year as SA Brennan meaning the school is 17 years younger than Larry Hill's tenure at Smithson Valley. The school is named after the 1996 movie Lone Star.
