One thing I’ve learnt since joining the NPFL is that many Lagosians don't actually like football. If you like talk from now tomorrow about NPFL, you can’t drag an adult to the stadium to watch an NPFL game.
If Lagos wants that legendary 3SC or northern-style NPFL cult following, we have to capture the 14–18 years demographic. If we give teenagers a home at Onikan Stadium, the matchday culture takes care of itself and it will grow to the same heights as that of Ibadan and of the North.
