The rut is on…

Still seeing bachelor groups of stags but things are starting to pick up. Long days out on the hill and challenging stalking.

7hrs to stalk this stag not the longest stalk but a physically/mentally demanding one with a lot of crawling. 6 people on the stalk took a lot of hiding!

A brief ban for my last post… Makes me happy knowing that someone has wasted their time reporting the post. How sad.

One of the older stags we’ll shoot this season and a very interesting set of antlers. I felt truly blessed to be on the hill yesterday.

Dog things

Ironic that they’re waving a white flag again…suppose it’s easy to do when you’re not being outflanked by men in DPM. (Not a footy fan but thought this was quite funny)

We’ll be campaigning to stroke crocodiles next.

Owlet rescue this evening

If you look hard enough there are similarities/overlap in almost every job sector. Even politics and gamekeeping…you put shit into your Kestrel (ballistic calculator) and you get shit out. Inevitability missing your shot and the opportunity that you were presented with.

The puppy now lives in the kennel…
