I just found on my old laptop the manuscripts of the two novels I started writing 10 years ago and shelved in 2018. Microsoft Word 2013 files. Password-protected. Only the rough drafts of the prologue and the first chapter of one had ever been printed. Whew.

Beso-beso is a common greeting in the Philippines, especially among those in the upper class or among relatives. Some people I meet, however, do practice the gesture almost without exception, which I think is the gray area, considering the many factors at play in such a case:
Can't blame the hosts for voicing their opinions nonetheless. They had to make it clear they don't condone any untoward behavior on their show. I just think that's not it.
