Has this stopped being true? Has something changed or was this jobs speak to justify the lack of technology at the time?

Chris Pratt says Hollywood has been ignoring a massive audience — and he proved it with "Terminal List."
The actor told Jimmy Fallon the show's first season succeeded because it delivered something audiences were starving for: an unapologetic, patriotic action series built around authentic military storytelling. Pratt said veterans regularly approach him to praise the show's accuracy, from tactics and jargon to battlefield decorum.

I still miss the scroll through time feature (‘Time Travel’?) on the Apple Watch. I haven’t really worn mine since they took that away a few years back.
Would love to see it back @johnternus 💙
Got myself a new bit of bbq kit this weekend. Broke it in with some pulled pork. Lovely. Simple. Fun.
It’s becoming clear the difference between those adopting AI well and those not is just sheer ambition of goal.
The question is, can your org direct that ambition into something useful?

I’m building Become AI Native: a course about getting genuinely good at building software with AI.
Less about the hot tool this week. More about the judgment, mindset and workflows that outlast them.

Modern UIs won’t let screens be this dense though. Kinda hope they don’t change it.
(But funny observation for sure)
I’m just confused why they didn’t make a stand for an iPad mini that clicks onto it.

This is why you work from home, folks. Corporate espionage is way harder with a distributed team 🤣
We discovered a sophisticated recording device that was hidden inside one of our offices. We used our models to understand the device and where it had come from, identifying that a specific employee had planted it a few days earlier. We referred the matter to the FBI, and we’re grateful to the agents and prosecutors who moved quickly to make an arrest. The FBI’s investigation is ongoing and we will continue to support their work.
At this time, we have no indications of this individual inappropriately accessing or exfiltrating model weights, source code, or customer data. The employee was terminated.
We take protecting our technology, data, and people seriously, and as a matter of national importance. Our security program is designed to protect against a wide range of threat actors, from insider risks to cybercriminals to nation states, and this case is an example of how AI can help address these sophisticated security threats.
