Ten records in one week. It was a good week. samla.ai counts every record you add, month by month, so the evidence is now on file. How many came home with you this week?

Maybe the most American photo book ever made. My copy is in Chinese. It's Robert Frank's The Americans, the first Chinese edition from Steidl in 2008, with Jack Kerouac's introduction and Trolley, New Orleans, 1955 on the jacket. Book and jacket are both in excellent shape. It lives in a box labelled Book Box, the most honest label in my storage. Guess what samla.ai says it's worth. Real number in the replies tomorrow morning.

Mondays look exactly the same in 3-D. I checked. These are Kraftwerk 3-D glasses from my collection: paper specs with grey lenses, tucked in the original red case with the pixel crosses and the numbers 1 to 8. The right lens has a crack, so my Monday is more like 2.5-D. Value tracker says about $11. Cheapest way into the Man-Machine I know of. What's the smallest band souvenir you've hung on to?

November is root vegetable season. These are the only root vegetables in my house nobody is allowed to put in the soup. It's an original photograph by Swedish photographer Carl Kleiner from 2008, a unique 1/1. Slices of root vegetables arranged like a tiny geometric puzzle, in a white frame. Guess what samla.ai says it's worth. Real number in the replies tomorrow morning.

No-Shave November starts today, a holiday @ZZTop basically turned into a lifestyle. Tejas from my dad's shelf, the 1976 album on London Records, with a longhorn grazing under a full moon on the cover. Sleeve in VG shape. Value tracker says about $30. That's a lot of Texas for the price of a burrito. Which band would win No-Shave November?

Somewhere in your house is a record you definitely own and absolutely cannot find. samla.ai remembers which room and which stack it's in, so the hunt takes seconds instead of your whole Sunday. Where's yours hiding?

The only Stockholm metro car that's never delayed. It's been parked in a frame since 2015. This is a mixed media piece by Swedish graffiti artist Gouge from my collection. Spray paint, ink and pencil, with a metro car inlaid in real wood veneer, signed GOUGE 15. Value tracker says about $460. Cheaper than a lifetime of monthly passes, and you always get a seat. What's the most local piece of art on your wall?

Halloween costume idea from 1969: take an old World War I pilots' photo and paste your band's faces on it. That's the cover of @ledzeppelin II, here on my dad's US Atlantic gatefold, SD 8236, stereo, still in its protective plastic. Normal edge wear, VG all round. Led Zeppelin III is sitting on top in the photo, because Zeppelin records travel in packs. Guess what samla.ai says this copy is worth. Real number in the replies tomorrow morning.

It's Halloween night, and if someone knocks and asks "Is there anybody out there?", my dad has the right record ready. @pinkfloyd's The Wall, a 1979 Scandinavian original double LP on Harvest, pressed in Sweden. Side one opens with In The Flesh? and the discs are in VG shape. Value tracker says about $53. We don't need no trick-or-treaters, but the candy's by the door anyway. Which album cover would make the best Halloween costume?
21
Mick Jagger's 1987 solo album doesn't bother with Side A and Side B. The label just says This Side and Other Side. @MickJagger's Primitive Cool from my dad's shelf. CBS, made in Europe, with the famous tongue logo sneaking onto a solo record. The other side even has a song called Peace For The Wicked, which feels right for Halloween. Value tracker says about $8. Cheaper than most costumes, and it still moves like Jagger. What's the oddest label detail in your collection?
22
My dad has two copies of Electric Ladyland. Same album, same Track Record label, same year. samla.ai says one is worth almost three times the other. This is the pricier one, a UK first pressing from October 1968, discs in VG shape. Halloween tip: the scariest thing in a record collection is two copies of the same album with very different prices. Guess what samla.ai says this copy is worth. Real number in the replies tomorrow morning.

It's Halloween eve, so tonight we're going over to the dark side. @pinkfloyd's The Dark Side of the Moon from my dad's shelf. A Swedish pressing on Harvest, SHVL 804, reissued in 1979 with MADE IN SWEDEN printed round the label. A little dust, a few handling marks, grooves in good shape. Value tracker says about $40. Cheapest trip to the dark side you'll find, no telescope needed. What record goes on first on Halloween night?
