Zack Polanski might not have won the Holborn & St Pancras by-election but that he stood and came so close to victory should be viewed as a statement of intent and ambition for the Green Party going into the next election.
Bold politics will continue to pay off.
If there was a precedent to ban demonstrations on the basis of Palestinian men, women and children being killed in Gaza that day, every single day of the year would be out of bounds.
Spoke to @GBNEWS on why it is right for anti-genocide demonstrations to take place today.

hi @SuzanneEvans1
i see you tweeted defamatory nonsense about me and then bravely blocked me
i would advise you delete your tweet before any more damage is done and any action needs to be taken
(feel free to keep me blocked though, a life without seeing your bs is a good one)
Ultimately, Zionism is a non-homogeneous political movement predicated on ethnonationalism, religious supremacy and the right of unquestionable dominion.
Its conflation with Jewish safety around the world is as dangerous as it is deliberate.
Autonomy, self-determination and a peoples right to exist are inalienable but must never come at the expense of the rights, protections and freedoms of others, as has been the case with the creation of Israel, the Nakba and decades of Palestinian subjugation.

Holocaust survivor and activist Stephen Kapos explains why he rejects Zionism, drawing on his childhood experience of persecution and his opposition to the suffering of Palestinians in Gaza.
Even for the Mail’s standards this story is low, and is nothing more than a grim attempt to smear Zack Polanski.
Antisemitism in Europe was rampant before WW2. Nazism and the Holocaust were manifestations of years of persecution that led to mass migration long before the camps.
Polanski said his family 'fled the Nazis'. But all four of his grandparents were born in Britain - long before the war trib.al/cEIekAl
As recently as yesterday, pensioners were arrested outside Labour conference for holding pieces of paper in support of Palestine Action.
This is just pathetic lip service unless Palestine Action is de-proscribed, charges are dropped and all arms sales to Israel are suspended.
Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband: 'I want to say to the millions of people in this country and indeed elsewhere, who have been moved and outraged by the plight of the Palestinian people. We hear you. You were right'

REVEALED: New rules for rent tribunals introduced by the Renters Rights Act are actually increasing rents at a faster rate than the national average, despite claims from Housing Secretary @AngelaRayner that they would bring rents down...
Britain’s welfare system is woefully inadequate and leaves millions of people languishing in dire poverty and declining mental health.
The Tories’ deliberate incitement of a disgusting culture war on sick and disabled people will only further stigmatise the welfare system.
Tories would prevent long-term jobless spending benefits on alcohol and cigarettes bbc.in/4hJepP7
Let’s not forget that it was the Tories who took an axe to state welfare and starved people they had labelled ‘scroungers’, like Stephen Smith, to death.

Lest we forget that Macron has repeatedly allowed Netanyahu to enter French airspace despite the active ICC arrest warrant for war crimes in Gaza.
Another Zionist cuck with a humiliation kink.

The US continues to act with such a disturbing impunity, from the genocidal suffocation of Cuba to the illegal war in Iran, and much more in between.
Operation Paperclip naturally manifested Operation Condor and the despicable chauvinist foreign policy laid bare by Trump.
Young people live in a world where they are told by people in media and politics that compassion is stupidity, autonomy is meaningless, caring is naivety, humanity is weakness and genocide is justified.
The mental health crisis is real — and it is the establishment’s fault.

a potential ai apocalypse has dominated the headlines for the last couple of weeks, but are we letting worry about what the technology could do in the future distract us from what tech bros are doing right now? i certainly think so!
In his Zionism PR-friendly statement last night, Ed Sheeran conflated an attack on Israel with an attack on the world’s Jewish population.
This is irresponsible and, according to the definition accepted by UK and US governments, is antisemitism.
Jim Ratcliffe is a billionaire tax exile who refuses to pay his fair share, exploits workers, scapegoats migrants and happily watches Britain's public services crumble from his mansion in Monaco.
We're too lenient on these parasites. Wealth tax and asset forfeiture now.
Brexit-backing billionaire Manchester United owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe has said he can see why rich people are leaving the UK, describing the country as “on the slide”.

for context here:
Blair’s son is the founder of an AI company
His daughter in law works at sovereign ai fund
The TBI has (allegedly) received or had pledged north of £250 million in funding from ai barons.
We must grip AI, not race ahead or hold it back.
Everyone is talking about AI safety. But what does that actually mean?
The latest debate across tech, politics and beyond is focused on whether developers are moving too quickly.
But we should also be asking: How do we know whether an AI system is safe enough to deploy?
