And all the sudden the app state win last week in Boone isn’t looking so great anymore JMU has had to swallow two tough losses these last two weeks

He would not be a top 20-25 candidate at any other school other than State.. people are really not thinking through basic ideology. Rather amazing.

Philip Rivers has as much or more football expertise than anyone else we could hire. Any college coaching inexperience can be offset by high caliber assistants. What he can bring that no one else can is record donor contributions, and cash is what we need more than anything.

This more than likely takes Phil Rivers out of the equation.. plenty of good candidates out there, maybe nobody great.

NC State football coaching search will be led by Boo Corrigan, who will rely on "counsel and expertise of trusted advisors," including former NC State players Bill Cowher and Dewayne Washington, per letter sent to "Wolfpack Nation" by Corrigan and Chancellor Kevin Howell.

Dave Doeren will not take questions from reporters. "This is my press conference, and it's the last time I'm going to talk to any of you for a while."

Both are the same job, satterfield would be making a lateral move if he accepted the offer at NC State. NC State will have their work cut out for them these next few weeks but should be an interesting coaching search

NC State is Satterfield's dream job. That win against Texas Tech yesterday might have done more for him than initially realized. What is Satts buy out at Cincy?

This is where I’m at as a unbiased fan I don’t think you can over turn the call on the field in that situation. UNC had many chances to close the game out both in regulation and in overtime and couldn’t close out. Tough game, will be a head scratcher at the end of the year.
Brian Murphy (@murphsturph) profile pictureBrian Murphy

Not convinced Syracuse got in on the 2-point conversion. Don’t think you could overturn the call on the field. And UNC should have never let it get to that point.

My guy, I have absolutely zero to do with whatever happens on the field. I said it was a tough loss and we need to take a look in the mirror at some things going forward. That’s all that needs to be said. It is just football

Ok keep that mindset and continue losing to programs who have no business competing against unc. I’ll continue to hold people accountable for an unbelievably underachieving athletic program.

Tough loss tonight, nothing seemed great other than the first drive of the game and something felt strange. May need to go find a quarterback in the off season, pitrino does what he can but he’s limited this year. Sucks

Luckily, the ACC and its counterparts will do just fine with separation beyond 2030 One could say, it’s all starting to come together
