One Punch Man fans have never actually seen the original version of the story.
So I mapped out all three versions here,

It turns out the anime adapts the manga, not the original. the manga was drawn by a different artist who added things that don't exist in the real webcomic, including an entire villain.

The adaptation always wins, and nobody questions the trade.
Dumbledore in the books is a calculating strategist who keeps Harry in the dark for years.
Snape is genuinely cruel to Harry.
Harry is angry, impulsive, and messy.
The films gave us very different versions of all three.
So why don’t authors get to tell us who these characters actually are?

Why did the movies remove so much of Dumbledore’s morally complicated side?
Book Dumbledore isn’t simply the wise old wizard who always knows what he’s doing. He admits that he manipulated Harry, deliberately withheld information, and prepared him for the possibility that he would have to die. That’s a much darker Dumbledore and a far more interesting one.

Dune: Part Three just confirmed something genuinely strange.
Jason Momoa is playing Duncan Idaho, a character who's resurrected in the books and ends up in a relationship with Paul's younger sister Alia.
Momoa's real life son is playing Leto II, Paul's son, Alia's nephew.
The books already made this one of the most uncomfortable, divisive relationships Herbert ever wrote. Now there's a real family layer stacked on top of it.

the "ai-art ban" is tearing through writing communities right now.
i’ve been watching the fallout in r/fantasywriters. one side wants "human" purity, the other just wants the tools to visualize their worlds.
it points to a deeper truth: writers don’t actually want "ai content." they want agency.
most ai-art tools are a slot machine. you pull the lever and hope it matches your vision. but worldbuilders need precision. eye color has to match chapter 4; architecture has to match the lore.
at mythril, we’re not building a "content generator." we’re building the infrastructure that gives that agency back to the author.
whether you use our visualization tools or upload your own manual art, we ensure the world stays consistent. infrastructure for the imagination.
