300+ people at DevDay Exchange San Salvador 🔥
Co-hosted with @wmoralesdev and @irenehl__ (thanks for the opportunity), and gave a talk on building dynamic websites with Codex and Higgsfield.

Full house today in San Salvador for #DevDayCommunity 😍
And our future Codex ambassador too (hopefully) @irenehl__
Successful iOS apps with low churn usually have one thing in common: they give users a real reason to open the app again tomorrow.
The three retention loops I see working most often:
- Weekly/monthly recaps that show progress over time
- Streaks that reward daily consistency
- Reminders that bring users back at the right moment
If your app doesn't have any of these, subscriptions tend to quietly die off within a few weeks.
What other retention loops have you seen work well?

Like it or not, modern sw engineering is no longer done without LLMs (AI) and will no longer be done without.
Whoever doesn’t want to use AI, no problem: but you won’t be hired at 99.9% of startups+Big Tech+ambitious companies, even today
It’s as part of sw dev as the keyboard
🗞️ if your team is too busy doing their 'normal job' to experiment with AI, you're preparing them to be replaced

In this post, I guess this's the last time I'll say it. AI use is no longer optional if you wish to be employed. What follows is advice for current employees and hiring managers on how to hire in 2026 to source AI-first candidates.

The free tiers I'm actually using right now:
• Clerk — 50k users
• Supabase — 50k MAU
• PostHog — 1M events
• Cloudflare Workers — 100k req/day
• Resend — 3k emails (but really 100/day)
• Sentry — 5k errors
• RevenueCat — free until $2.5k MRR
What are yours?

Roles are collapsing.
If you're a "Software Engineer" today, you may be a "Product Engineer" soon - with many more responsibilities.
So:
- Learn design/UX/QA/PM skills.
- Focus more on the user, and less on the syntax.
