Wondering how to get started with ChatGPT as your research assistant. Here are five prompts that can be used to kick off the process. The pre-requisite is that one must decide the area of research first. #ChatGPT #AILESSONS #OpenAI #research
An increasing concern about the use of generative AI tools by students calls for academics to probably take a different approach to solve this issue instead of worrying about how to catch the percentage of plagiarism. Martine Peters offers a few reasonably good measures in the following piece published in Harvard Business Publishing. #OpenAI #GenerativeAI #academia #academic #university #EducationForAll
A little glimpse of where the AI is headed! I’ll not be surprised when there will be a robot doing all this work on its own with just one instruction. #artificalintelligence ##openai

I am forced to inform all of you, and friends in media, that I am receiving life threats through different means; I am being made to realize that my whereabouts are known to powerful people back in Pakistan & I should not think that I am safe in Washington. This was continuing since March, but now it has assumed a more serious shape & intensity. Few days before Imran Khan's arrest, a meeting took place somewhere in between Pindi & Islamabad and formations were asked to track me, my exact location. I had previously informed Washington police but decided not to give any names. I am now giving names, with titles in writing, to US Police and FBI and will reach out to HR Organizations & International media. Such terror actions are always sanctioned from the very top. I still believe that sanity will prevail, and other responsible people around them will counsel them. And that is why I am not giving any more facts & names here. But unfortunately Pakistan is being run by an irresponsible criminal mafia and they are desperate to silence all dissent & freedom of expression from any one of Pakistani origin anywhere in the world. While many world wide are speaking against their inhuman and illegal actions, I am being targeted because of my prominence as a media person. If needed, I will update you again. Supreme Court deserves thanks for still being alive! But Supreme Court, High Courts, Bar Associations, Lawyers, Academics and all feeble minded intellectuals should be grateful to those bold young men of KP and Punjab who sacrificed their lives to uphold the moral order of a society, its courts and constitution. Almost 50 young men died facing up to the forces of tyranny across Pakistan! Since there is no dearth of idiots in the so called "Educated Pakistan" let me remind them that almost a quarter million men and women died in American Civil War that ended slavery. In limited reading of law, slave states of South had the right to secede and continue with their tyranny on the black slaves. What Abraham Lincoln and North fought was a moral principle. All laws and constitution flow out from the force of morality. These are issues which Muslim world has never understood! And most good lawyers in Pakistan miss out. Lawyers talk of supremacy of the courts, ultimate arbiters of constitution. But forget that constitution and its interpretation depends upon the "moral force" of a society.
Now "pseudo intellectuals" (and educated on father's money) are crying that the young men who challenged forces of tyranny on streets were hooligans even forgetting that in most instances they faced "straight shots" (shoot to kill, which itself raises difficult questions). Pseudo intellectuals are more dangerous because they confuse people through their powerful sounding titles. They forgot the series of tyrannical actions by the authorities in Pakistan from April 2022, when police vans were brought outside parliament for intimdiation. In May 2022, 4,400 houses across Punjab were raided, doors broken and men, women and children thrashed under misapplication of colonial era draconian laws. Murder of TV Anchor Arshad Sharif, Assassination attempt on Imran Khan, arrests & torture of journalists, politicians, political workers and hundreds of acts of brute tyranny & wickedness, violating law, repudiating courts and trashing constitution and even long held conventions. All this unleashing of brute tyranny and wickedness has totally destroyed the "moral order" of Pakistani society. And finally the images of "brute tyranny of Imran Khan kidnap" that had totally broken the very concept of "Rule of Law" fractured the society and unleashed those angry young men who are less corrupt than the old married men. Bertrand Russel had explained in his books that how men under 30 or 35 are less corrupt, bold and believe in a better world. Old men are often compromised. In case of Pakistan plots and farm houses have corrupted old men and blinded them to their responsibilities to a market of under paid workers that makes them rich. Those who protested and sacrificed their lives (True Shaheeds in Pakistan's painful struggle for Human Rights and liberal democracy) have helped restore the forgotten "Rule of Law" and have given strength to Supreme Court for doing a small tiny right thing. But courts are terribly weak and compromised, now its the job of Bar Associations, lawyers and media to identify the "eternal truths" which underlie the so called "law and Constitution" - Had lawyers, Bar Associations and Judges played their role then those 50 young men would not have died, Army and people would not have faced each other on streets! But a terribly weak Supreme Court has only attempted to bring some semblance of "Rule of Law" and has momentarily saved the realm. Will we save ourselves depend upon political process; the only way forward is for Establishment to play a constructive role in producing political consensus towards a "Free, Fair, Transparent & Credible Elections" - Supreme Court had tried that, but Establishment failed it; still time to "Correct"; will explain all this and more in my next Vlog. Wait!

Sending the case back to Islamabad High Court is suspicious - unless Chief Justice Amir Farooq recuses. CJ IHC has already exercised his mind & he thought that arrest by paramilitary unit (Ranger) from court premises was correct, so CH Amir Farooq hearing the case makes no sense!
Congratulations! Supreme Court has declared Imran Khan's arrest, by paramilitary units, from Islamabad High Court illegal. Now what does it mean? because judicial system in Pakistan is very weak & executive in no mood to listen to courts. Is this a cosmetic measure to create impression that courts exist? to send crowds back to home and then arrest through Islamabad High Court again? ...because the conduct of Chief Justice of IHC, in all this drama, has already raised very difficult questions..

While the world is responding fast to the potential implications of #GenerativeAI, I have not seen any take of the Pakistan’s educational institutions on this. No heads-up from #HEC either.#dalle2 #ChatGPT #artificalintelligence
This #GenerativeAI is going to change everything about how we learn very soon. Better to learn its applications before it takes over the traditional modes of learning. #Educationsystem will be the first to be disrupted. #ChatGPT
