It was a great honour to present my book, SELF-COACH, to thousands of graduating students at Victoria University Kampala, Uganda
Even more special was the privilege of presenting a copy to the University Chancellor 💙

Fellow Ugandans, why aren’t we talking about this lady enough? 👀
Dr. Gladys Kalema-Zikusoka has been nominated as a CNN Hero, and she’s now among the TOP 5! 🇺🇬
Yes, a Ugandan is among the top five CNN Heroes, and we have an opportunity to bring this recognition home!
For those who don’t know, Dr. Gladys is Uganda’s first wildlife veterinarian. Through her work, she has dedicated her life to wildlife conservation, protecting mountain gorillas and putting Uganda on the global map.
She’s also consistently featured on major international media platforms, telling Uganda’s conservation story and promoting our tourism.
Honestly, if we are looking for a person to appoint as Uganda’s Tourism and Conservation Ambassador, her name deserves to be in that conversation.
But first, let’s get her this CNN Heroes award!
Ugandans, let’s show up! You have 10 times a day.

Let’s bring this one home! 🇺🇬
Glad to have been part of Day 6 of the African Writers Conference.

Today at @TEDxEntebbe 2026, we explore a question close to the heart: Where do we truly belong?
Home isn’t always a place. Sometimes, it’s the people who understand us, accept us and make us feel we belong.
Join me as we reflect on this theme: “Home Is Who We Have.”

No career journey is built alone. Behind every achievement are people who believed in us, encouraged us and stood by us. ❤️
Today, 30 October, join us at @TEDxEntebbe, 2026 as our very own Dr. @shamimkmatovu explores the theme:
"Home Is Who We Have."

The ideas are taking shape. The stories are being refined. Behind the scenes, preparation continues. 🎤
Our speakers are getting ready to take the stage at TEDx Entebbe 2026, where 10 perspectives come together around one question:
WHERE IS HOME?
Been reading Dr. @ReachDrMuganga’s WAKE UP OR BE LEFT BEHIND for the 2nd time
Like biblical Noah, the warning is clear: the future is here
Friends, let's embrace AI early, but do so ethically and responsibly
Let’s wake up before we’re left behind! 🚀

Victoria University is pursuing what I call a disruptive business model. Our traditional universities will undoubtedly make noise, but there is much they can learn from VU.
We are living in Extraordinary times which demand extraordinary ways of doing things.

Perhaps a beautiful way to live is to move through life without making it unnecessarily harder for someone else.
More kindness, more compassion, more understanding, and more consideration.
