out of the 2024 baihe novels in this post, I can only rec the dragon. even then it's not 100% a rec bc I didn't read the chinese version. for the other 2024 ones, I wouldn't rec them because of problematic content (like colourism, ableism, misogyny) I may have missed.
psa: for those wanting the uncensored version, I remember a few chinese reviews talked about how the smut was too much (and made the plot worse) vs the censored version (where the plot flowed better but needed a bit more smut).

I temporarily dropped a supernatural case-solving baihe. a romance between a vengeful money-grubbing fengshui master and stubborn skeptical police officer.
why: so interesting & funny! but some info conflicted/unclear & writing can be better. disliked the physiognomy & copganda.

holy shit english baihe license for ruhai aka the mermaid xianxia baihe with really high reviews!! wonder if they're translating the po18 (original nsfw version) or the jjwxc one (censored).

the people yearn for universal sizing (got new bras not knowing I should've sized up and now my ribcage is in danger)
iron girls (a now 3-season reality show about 4 korean actresses doing insane physical challenges, pushing their bodies & minds to the breaking point, to challenge professional sporting competitions) is coming back!
idk how this season will go but 10/10 recommend this insane show about the retired goddess of volleyball turned rookie coach to a team of underdog women players. who must win a certain amount of volleyball battles to become a professional team.
god I have so many thoughts about the wonder coach s2. this reality show makes me so riveted, amazed, and stressed...
got 20 minutes into the thai gl love on hire and yeah I'm out. but if you want a ridiculous humour questionable quality show that you can turn your brain off to watch, this may be for you.
