Australia needs to wake up. Even here, the left is acting out with violence.
🇦🇺 Australian MP Helen Haines was targeted in an attempted assassination and rammed with a car by a radical far-left environmentalist.
She is in critical condition and has lost a leg.
The attack happened outside her electorate office in Wangaratta, Victoria. Suspect Brendan Nugent, 43, was arrested at the scene.
Police are treating it as a deliberate and politically motivated attack.
Haines, 65, was unloading her car when Nugent turned a white Toyota Land Cruiser into the car park, pinned her against her vehicle, then reversed and rammed her a second time.
A local barber pulled Nugent from the car, subdued him, and threw away a knife found in the vehicle.
Haines was airlifted to hospital. After surgery, she lost one leg and doctors are trying to save the other. She remains critical but stable.
Nugent, from Tarrawingee, is known as a radical far-left environmentalist and anti-logging campaigner.
Investigators are reviewing his social media posts, including anti-Israel and pro-environment content. He had previously interacted online with Haines.
Still very much on the fence with Gunn's DCU, but when I heard Mike Flanagan wrote the screenplay I was all in... #clayface

Not going to be able to watch this at night. Going to have to be a daytime thing, followed by maybe a Jackass marathon or classic Tom Green Show to cleanse the mind... #exorcistmartyrs #horror #mikeflanagan
Oooh... I wonder if @XBOX playing friendship with the legendary @Kojima_Hideo has anything to do with this? Could Kojima San possibly get a live action production? That would be next level!!!
Today, we announced XP, a new XBOX division that will help grow our great games into experiences beyond the games themselves.

Okay, this is exciting. Open opportunities for excellent film and TV content... I knew Gears Of War has been floating out there for a while in pre-production, no wonder it went quiet. I'm wagering it's going to be announced as one of the first major projects... #XBOXP #GearsOfWar
Earlier this year, Asha shared her ambition for XBOX to become the #1 entertainment company in the world. Today, we are launching XP, a new division that will help grow our franchises into Film/TV, consumer products, theme parks, and more.

It's AFL Grand Final day here in Australia 🇦🇺 and if you aren't doing house work until 2:30pm, the only thing that's legally allowed to be on an Aussie telly is 'Russel Coight's All Aussie Adventures.' You can actually be arrested if you watch anything else. Watch it on @StanAustralia or go to jail... #AFLGF
It was Father's Day here in Australia the other day. Sat down with my two boys and watched one of my all time favourite films 'Man Of Steel.' It was their first time too. My 11 year old commented, "it's intense" and "looks amazing" and "the music is good." It really is the perfect Father's Day movie, showing how the role of the dad really shapes the outcome of the son. Such a brilliant & powerful movie if watched through that lens. @ZackSnyder truly deserves to continue his story... #RestoreTheSnyderverse
Finally saw Spider-Man Brand New Day with my boys. Gotta say, movies like this is why we must support cinemas and actually GO to the movies. It was something else on the big screen. Especially the first big swing sequence where we see inside Peter's mask... It looked & sounded amazing.
My daily desktop has a separate SSD in which I boot into Ubuntu 24 (purely because Anyware Client only works in 24)... Linux runs on it without a single peep. It never kicks off into "help me I'm dying" fan mode. But, each time I forget to smash F12 on boot up and end up in Windows 11, I notice that the fan kicks in the second I just decide to move my mouse into a corner or load up Edge, or even Brave. Linux is truly magical.

This is a good n' true read. Australia is a beautiful place, and Australian people are some of the loveliest you'll ever meet in the world... But... It's spiralling here, crime rising, everything is expensive, bills, rates, tax. The labor / greens are corrupt. We need drastic change.

Now this is hilariously cool.
Just wait for the 'cease and desist' and then suddenly an official super limited edition release exactly the same comes out from Disney...
