REPORTS SHOW THAT NON-COMMUNICABLE DISEASES (#NCDs ) ARE NOW THE LEADING CAUSE OF DEATH IN RWANDA.
In Rwanda, #NCDs accounted for 49.5% of deaths in health facilities and 58.8% of deaths in communities in recent reports
Those numbers are a warning but they are not a prediction of what must happen next.
Every day gives us an opportunity to change the story: the food we choose, the movement we make, the habits we leave behind, the stress we learn to manage, and the decision to check our health before something feels wrong.
Prevention is not one big decision.
It is hundreds of small ones, repeated over time.
So, before tomorrow asks you to take care of your health, start today.
