This has been signalled for many years but has always remained frustratingly out of reach… glad that it seems to be on the brink of arrival
The expanded Siri AI is actually a bigger deal – from Apple: "Today’s preview allows any app to bring its content and actions directly into Siri AI by using App Intents" So Apple is moving away from specific domains. This is great. developer.apple.com/news/?id…

I really hope Jack Lowden isn’t the new Bond, that’s not a character about whom one wants to have impure thoughts

God, the petulant whining about the John Lewis Christmas ad gets earlier every year.

Catching up on Slow Horses and as ever, marvelling at how it can look like a slick, uber-expensive spy thriller one second, and then cut to an office studio set with the cheapest-looking painted window backdrop since Acorn Antiques

The whole judgement paints Sex Matters as opportunistic chancers who couldn’t give a shit either about the law or Sandie Peggie. Joyce, Forstater et al are publicity hungry shysters, as if anyone with half a brain couldn’t already tell.
She didn't lose the case because she believed in biology. I'd assume most health workers believe in biology. She lost the case because there was NO evidence her union discriminated against her on the grounds of "gender critical" beliefs.

As a critic I enjoyed reading this immensely – and not just because abuse later this week I’ll be joining other Critics’ Circle members to celebrate Kazuo Ishiguro, whose novel has been adapted into Waititi’s film
i wrote about Taika Waititi's delusional and embarrassing Instagram post, and how it reflects a deeper problem about the impacts of social media on the entire artistic ecosystem: indiewire.com/criticism/movi…

I don’t see what the ★★★★★ reviews are in this solid but somewhat monotonic piece
#THEATRE #REVIEW The Lives Of Others @LWTheatres @TLOOPlay ' a solid, entertaining, and suspenseful two hours' ⭐️⭐️⭐️½ thereviewshub.com/the-lives-… #London

Playing with an “end of game retirement” option for my forthcoming theatre producer game on iOS. Foundation Models is trying to construct a news story out of the character’s show history, but the prompt needs quite a bit of work…

Having one of those mornings where I’m reading ★★★★★ reviews and wondering what play they were seeing, because the one I saw was decidedly mid. Each to their own.

I don’t actually think it matters that #MillionPoundShot wasn’t convincing as a real game show. It was intriguing enough that people tuning in will hopefully continue watching for the documentary that follows – a documentary they probably wouldn’t have watched if it was billed as a documentary from the start

Gah, if only I had a subeditor for my tweets. Then I wouldn’t have reused “documentary” three times in the same sentence

This is going to end up being some sort of satirical condemnation of the gambling industry, isn’t it #MillionPoundShot

Watching #TNG All Good Things… and considering Sir Patrick Stewart’s last days, Picard’s Irumodic Syndrome seems ironically bittersweet

Started my weekend with a quick refresh of my app studio’s website, promoting @CritiCalTheatre, teleprompter Lilt and a sneak peek of new theatre game Impresario strangemagic.app

I never saw Patrick Stewart at a convention and didn't come with him into direct contact in any way when working on #StarTrekPicard but there's one Patrick Stewart/Jean-Luc Picard related achievement that only I have ever made - find proof that Patrick Stewart exists in the #StarTrek universe. 1/10

All of us at Marvel Studios are deeply saddened by the passing of Sir Patrick Stewart. Sir Patrick brought Professor Charles Xavier to life with extraordinary grace, intelligence, and humanity, defining the character for generations of fans, from "X-Men" to "Logan" to "Avengers: Doomsday." He was a singular talent, a generous collaborator, and a true gentleman. Our hearts go out to his wife Sunny, his children, his friends, and the countless fans around the world whose lives he touched with his art.
