159 years ago today: The Lincoln Funeral Train departed Harrisburg shortly after 11:15 a.m. and headed east to Philadelphia on the Pennsylvania Railroad. PRR locomotive 131 hauled the nine-car train. See my book, "A Carnival of Grief" for details on the journey. #AbrahamLincoln
