#Texas has been ranked #1 in the country for four weeks in a row.
That is the Longhorns’ longest streak atop of the AP Poll since 1977, via @ironfbstats.

Texas making a serious push for Georgia Tech LB commit Jason Crenshaw Jr. (@g0shaw)
Texas’ inside linebackers coach made the trip to Prattville to watch the 6’2”, 220-pound LB, and Crenshaw had a big smile — and threw up the Horns 🤘🏾 — when I asked him about his upcoming Texas official visit on October 24th.

5.5 sacks in ONE game - Texas record #10 in the On3 Heisman poll
No pure defender has EVER won it.
Is there a chance?

Two costly sacks from Manning on manageable downs with an open receiver.
Tennessee would score a touchdown on the very next play after missing an open Coleman on 3rd down with the CB biting on the RB swing pass.
2nd one is more excusable, but that ball has to get to Wingo.

Ryan Wingo was in his bag vs. Tennessee. Not sure why Texas didn't dial up more of the quick game to Wingo the way the Vols were throwing everything at the Horns in the box.

One of Texas' best concepts this season is running Duo from 11 personnel and using Wingo and Mosley (fifth of that name) as pseudo tight ends on the perimeter.

Texas' outside zone plays are slowly rounding into form. Will likely be a point of emphasis over the next two weeks:
