Is it company policy to leave the seats installed in your wheelchair spaces, @flixbus_uk @FlixBus? It seems a bit unfair on wheelchair users turning up, and all your other customers having to wait, and on your drivers having to lug them about. Please explain.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The coach is on display at the Euro Bus Expo 2026 at the NEC in Birmingham. The coach is not in passenger service, and is simply there showcased by its dealer Pelican/Yutong. In passenger service, these seats can be moved/removed to allow space for a wheelchair user. divcommanual.com/eurobusxpo/exh… pelicanyutong.co.uk/vehicle/gt12-2…

‼️ THE HATE DIRECTED AT 20-YEAR-OLD CO-PILOT NATHALIA FILGUEIRAS IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!! I woke up this morning absolutely disgusted by the number of negative comments I’ve seen directed at 20-year-old Nathalia Filgueiras, the co-pilot who tragically lost her life in Sunday’s plane crash in Palm Beach County, Florida. I’ve seen countless people questioning why a 20-year-old would be allowed to co-pilot a private jet, suggesting she was inexperienced, and even going so far as to blame her for the crash. Are you kidding me?!?! First of all, Nathalia was NOT the pilot in command of that aircraft. She was the first officer, serving alongside 55-year-old Captain Jeffrey Gregory, an experienced pilot who had spent decades in aviation. And for those questioning her qualifications simply because of her age, perhaps you should learn a little more about her before making those assumptions. She earned her private pilot’s license in September 2023, when she was just 17 years old. At that point, she had already logged 88 hours of flight time. By the age of 20, she had approximately 1,300 HOURS OF FLIGHT EXPERIENCE!! Just because someone is young does not automatically mean they are unqualified. Pilots must meet specific training, certification, and aircraft qualification requirements. Age alone does not determine someone’s abilities in the cockpit. More importantly, the cause of this crash hasn’t even been determined yet. There is absolutely NO evidence at this point that Nathalia’s age or experience caused this tragedy. What we do know is that she was facing an absolutely TERRIFYING situation, and she continued communicating critical information to air traffic controllers as the aircraft rapidly descended. While Captain Gregory could be heard praying during the emergency, Nathalia relayed information about the aircraft’s condition and its rapidly deteriorating situation. Think about that for a second. She was TWENTY YEARS OLD. She knew she was about to die, yet she continued carrying out her responsibilities under circumstances most of us could never begin to imagine. What would you do if you knew you would be dead within seconds and there was NOTHING you could do about it except wait for it to happen? I can tell you that personally that the radio would be the last thing on my mind. I would have been completely panicked, screaming, crying and probably wouldn’t have been able to even speak. The terror and sadness would have consumed me. The aircraft was flying sideways and almost straight down at dangerously high speeds. Despite the chaos, Nathalia’s communications provided information that investigators may be able to use to better understand what happened. Those transmissions could potentially help aviation safety experts identify contributing factors and develop recommendations to prevent similar tragedies!! And instead of recognizing her composure during an UNIMAGINEBLE emergency, people are sitting behind their phones criticizing her age and blaming her for something that hasn’t even been explained yet?!?! It’s absolutely ridiculous. Imagine being her mother or father and reading those comments. Nobody knows exactly what happened inside that cockpit or what caused the aircraft to lose control. That is precisely why the National Transportation Safety Board is conducting an investigation. Until investigators determine what happened, blaming either pilot is irresponsible. But either way, the pilot began to pray, and she continued communicating up until the very last millisecond. She is a HERO and should be remembered as one. ❤️ #news #Learjet60 #florida #bahamas #airplane #crash

#CelebrityTraitors what the faithful don't realise is that James A has played the Traitors a parting gift, on purpose, by making it seem that he was the only traitor in the library... rather than all 3 of them being traitors in the room!

Think today was one of those turning point days where, 2 weeks in to my current chest infection/ brittle asthma exacerbation I was either going to end up calling 999 or finally improving. I ended up having my first shower in 2 weeks. I'm going to take that as a mighty win! 🥴

This has been an almighty bug 🐛 though- 2 full weeks in bed with regular nebs treatments and 2 weeks of doxy antibiotics. Iv haven't been this sick since I got covid 2yrs ago. Only just managed to stay out of hospital through skill of my carers tbh... & a wee bit of stubborness

GP awareness is so important- no less than 5 GPs failed to spot me being in acute adrenal crisis/0 cortidol output over an 8 week period until I literally self-diagnosed. PLEASE GPs Be adrenal aware. – at Langton Matravers, England
We’re raising GP awareness of Addison's & adrenal insufficiency at the RCGP Annual Conference with our new campaign: 👁️ Spot. Recognise the signs of adrenal insufficiency. 🩺 Stabilise. Manage the condition safely. 🫴 Support. Help patients get the care they need. @rcgp @RCGPAC

This is me & part of the reason i have to have 24hr 1 to 1 care support.
People with adrenal insufficiency deserve safer adrenal crisis care. Adrenal crisis is a life-threatening emergency that needs a time-critical injection of hydrocortisone. Other life-threatening conditions have auto-injectors or pre-filled syringes. Adrenal crisis doesn’t. (1/3)

This 100%. One thing ive had to come to terms with having a parent with a brain injury with challenging behaviour including racist/sexist comments is that they have to suffer the consiquences of their actions. I can't protect them & i shouldnt, where they're deemed capacitated...
Replying to @ToniaAntoniazzi
Well frankly you should of warned hospital security and been prepared for the consequences of a hate crime. Trans people dying because can't access adaquet care isn't justifiable because your mum is a bigoted thug

...Allow them to be protected and emboldened in spouting hatred and abuse at other human beings who have done nothing to deserve it other than existing. I cannot believe that an MP thinks it is ok to molly coddle their parent to the extent that they would want to put someone...

elses's healthcare and wellbeing at risk, so as to avoid possibly annoying or upsetting their sick mother, for a matter of a few hours in a&e when the other patients behind the curtains should be the last thing on your mind. Just shut your curtains and concentrate on your Mum. 🔚

Reading the feed of tweets about Baroness Campbell's AI assisted speech in the HOL today fills me with both hope and sadness. Not seen one single tweet actually considering the words she had to say to the house on disability, the importance of independence, personal budgets...
Wonderful to hear Baroness Campbell's AI-created voice @UKHouseofLords for the first time; a first for @UKParliament & among the first in any legislature worldwide. More than a tech milestone, it's very much HER voice, a powerful one for a leading disability rights campaigner📣

...and avoiding the creeping re-mergence of institutionalisation and the 'medical model' under the guise of "cost effective care". What is the use of technology giving disabled people people a voice if no-one actually listens to what we have to say? Baroness Campbell's speech...

...was about so much more than showing off her new technology today and i am disappointed for her that no-one seems to have heard her extremely pertinent and important message.
